about

The haze of alcohol can cloud a mind – but if Seattle psyche-pop quartet The Purrs provide any measure, it can sometimes have the opposite effect. Soaked in whiskey, beer and sweat The Purrs have been living it for the past decade. With hundreds of shows and several national tours under their belts they are moving forward with the energy of the possessed. Each night is a blur but was surely filled with sharp swirling guitar fuzz, drop dead solid rhythm and unshakeable melodies. Each of their 5 releases has been touted by tastemaker radio, swooned over by critics and adored by fans in throughout the Pacific Northwest and far beyond. Sharp, smart, and catchy The Purrs are. And, sometimes, drunk.

On December 4th, 2012 Fin proudly be released The Purrs new 7”, “Rotting On The Vine” b/w “You, The Medicine and Me” – and it’s a corker, to be followed by the full length “The Boy With Astronaut Eyes” in 2013. So pop a few bottles of champagne slap on some headphones and join us.
